Some of you are sports enthusiasts. You love to play or watch certain sports and it does not take much to get you to participate. In fact, you drop other things to make time for it, because you love it and enjoy it. In most cases this involves time with friends which you enjoy spending time with. This should also be the case in our Christian life, to spend time in God’s Word and with other Christians.
Or just think back to the time you fell in love with the one you are married to. You constantly thought of them and thought what it would be like to be with them all the time. You talked and talked; you did everything that pleased them. Weather, the biggest snowstorm, distance, time, etc. etc. couldn’t stop you from being together to talk, to spend time together and to call was your delight. You praised each other’s accomplishments and encouraged each other and did what pleased the one you love.
