Intro: Good morning church. This is the last Sunday before Christmas Eve when together with friends and family we will sing Silent night - light candles and to together celebrate the coming of our Jesus. Please join us at our Christmas Eve service. Christmas is a time which is full of INVITES to all kinds of family/ or work gatherings. With all those invites you will have to choose which ones you will attend. But I need to add be careful not to show up on the wrong day to the party. I still remember with embarrassment our first Christmas in Calgary. For my Minister of Music at Brentview was Jerry Proppe >> his mom (who was a great cook), realizing that we were new to the city  invited us to join her family for their New Years meal. So, New Years Eve, we got all dressed up packed the kids in the car drove out to their place just outside the city right around mealtime (6:00 o’clock) and knocked on their door ready to eat and ready to party. As Martha opened the door, she had this strange, surprised look on her face.
