Once, while speaking at a Retreat (mainly Campus/Young Entrepreneurs), I broke the group up into smaller groups, and gave them the following scenario. There was a huge fire in their church building, it happened while a special service was going on at the church. And not only was the church destroyed .. but everyone in the building also perished. But because they were away at a retreat - your group was the only ones in the church who survived. {Now is that for a pleasant way to begin a sermon? :)} But then I added .. that because they were the only surviving members .. a few months later a cheque arrived in the mail from the Insurance company for 6.5 million dollars, that said: ‘While they couldn’t just divide the money among themselves, or spend it on travel, they had to decide what to do with the money’.
