When I start my sermon preparations, normally I am about three days out, meaning that it’s Thursday or Friday, and my procrastination has taken over me. I have some ideas swirling around in my head about what I’m going to do, what I’m going to talk about, but nothing really formalized. This is how I ran my entire life before I met my wife. I was doing homework at the last possible minute. Done one day, due the next. Or sometimes due at 11:59:59, and sent at 11:59:58.
