Why is Jesus Worth Following?
A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, I was in Junior High School. I remember some of the exciting and turbulent times of Junior High. In one of our classes, the teacher struggled with class control. There were a couple of people who regularly challenged her authority. On this one day, they started going at her. “No, I’m not going to do that.” Or they sneered at her attempt to establish control. Maybe she was having a bad day. Maybe she felt quite weak. But she suddenly left. We were in a portable class a little distance from the school. For a moment, everyone was quiet.
