Intro to Mental Health & Emotional Wellness Workshop
According to the Canadian Mental Health Association:
- In any given year, 1 in 5 people in Canada will personally experience a mental health problem or illness.
- 1 in 3 Canadians (about 9.1 million people) will be affected by a mental illness during their lifetime.
- By age 40, about 50% of the population will have or have had a mental illness.
Mental illness affects people of all walks of life or background. To an extent, no one is immune.
