Premier Kenney & Dr. Hinshaw Explain Measures for Place for Houses of Worship

Last week, Pastor Tom and I attended a town hall phone call with Premier Kenney and Dr. Hinshaw about restrictive measures regarding houses of worship. About a thousand leaders were on the call.

The call was very enlightening and informative as to the specifics behind certain restrictive measures for churches. They were able to explain the rationale behind some measures that many questioned in the first place. Except for one or two measure’s explanations, I was very satisfied over all.

Although there are some restrictions here in Alberta, in comparison to other churches or houses of worship in Canada and in the world, we are among the ones with the most freedom per say.

I must say I was very impressed with the class these two persons showed. Also for their appreciation for the work done by clergy, volunteers & churches, and finally with the openness to reassess and adjust certain measures in place for places of worship.
